What data Ovrlayed holds and why.
Ovrlayed collects the minimum data needed to run the platform, process subscriptions, and deliver products to your account. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising of any kind.

What we collect
When you create an account we store your email address, a hashed version of your password, and the subscription and product access state associated with your account. We do not store plain-text passwords at any point.
When you subscribe via Stripe, we receive and store a Stripe customer ID and subscription reference. Your card details are held by Stripe directly — Ovrlayed never sees or stores them.
How we use it
Your email address is used to send verification codes, password reset codes, and — if you are on the Live plan and have alerts configured — notification emails for qualifying bets.
Your subscription state is used to determine which products you can access. Nothing you provide is used for advertising, profiling, or sold to third parties.
Notification data
If you configure Ovrlayed Notifications, your alert settings (EV threshold, score filters, bookmaker exclusions, bet type preferences) are stored on your account and used only to match and deliver your alerts. You can update or delete these settings at any time from the Notifications page.
Cookies and sessions
Ovrlayed uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking cookies are used. No advertising pixel or analytics script is loaded on any page.
Third-party processors
Stripe handles all payment processing and is the only third-party service that receives your data in connection with using Ovrlayed. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle that data.
Data retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, your data is removed within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for billing continuity or legal compliance.
Your rights
You can update your email address from the account page at any time. You can change or delete your notification settings from the Notifications page. For any other data requests — including access, export, or deletion — contact us through the account page and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
